EmuCast desktop client application updates are seamless to our customers. Application updates are basically feature improvement updates pushed out to build product enhancements for customers to use.
When a desktop client application update is available to be downloaded and installed, EmuCast customers will receive an onscreen notification message.
If your EmuCast client app session is currently logged off when an upgrade is required for installation, at your next login you will recieve the onscreen notification message to update.
If your EmuCast client app session is currently active when an upgrade is required for installation, you will recieve the onscreen notification message to update.
When you receive the EmuCast desktop client application onscreen notification message to update, follow the below steps.
Step 1. On the "Update Available" pop up window click "Update". This will commence the download and installation process.
Step 2. The client application installation will now commence automatically, you will notice the EmuCast setup window.
Step 3. At the conclusion of the installation process, your EmuCast desktop client app will reload on your task bar then be available for use.
